Deodato Arte and Mr. Savethewall for Medelan
In July 2021, Deodato Arte, in collaboration with The Medelan, commissioned artist Mr. Savethewall to set up the new building in Piazza Cordusio with his iconic frogs in order to convey a positive and encouraging message. Mr. Savethewall therefore created entirely by hand 106 works, each more than 2 meters high, belonging to his “Kiss Me” series. The juxtaposition of the different frogs generated a veritable frieze that animated the entire perimeter of the building.
For the occasion, the artist depicted for the first time the female version of “Kiss Me”: a frog dressed in elegant clothes and suits like her companion.
Mr. Savethewall’s frogs symbolize wealth and prosperity, so they matched the contextperfectly and were a good omen for the innovative project. Every passerby, whether Milanese or not, had the opportunity to identify with the different subjects depicted.
The Medelan Milano

It consists of three connected buildings, dating from different periods, located in Piazza Cordusio.
