The exhibition will continue until February 29th, 2024.
Deodato Arte pays tribute to the fathers of pop art with an event in partnership with Langoseria and Calvisius Caviar.
On the occasion of the prestigious THE ICE competition in St. Moritz, Deodato Arte Gallery presents an exhibition dedicated to the legendary Studio 54 in New York, the disco club that became famous in the 70s and 80s thanks to its regular guests, personalities like Andy Warhol, Mick Jagger, and Michael Jackson. The future icons of glamour, fashion, music, and art have immortalized Studio 54, still an absolute trend today.
The exhibition features some of the most sought-after works from the Deodato Arte collection. The absolute protagonist is “Untitled,” a unique piece by Keith Haring and LAII, dated 1984, created with spray paint on wood. Certified by the Keith Haring Foundation, the artwork comes from the iconic Fiorucci flagship store in Milan, a sensational creation and an invaluable testimony to the great American street artist. Not to be missed.
Also on display are iconic works from Andy Warhol‘s production, such as Marilyn Monroe – This is Not by Me, dated 1974 and originally signed by the artist, in the rare green coloration, one of the most difficult to find on the market. Equally important is Mao FS II.98, a historic 1972 silkscreen print, in a limited edition, from the series dedicated to the Chinese leader Mao Tse-tung.
The gallery also showcases works by some of the most important contemporary artists, including Banksy, Mr. Brainwash, and David LaChapelle.
The exhibition, open throughout February, concludes with an exclusive event created by Deodato Arte, Langosteria, and Calvisius Caviar, in the true style of Studio 54. The collaboration between the three brands promises a unique evening of art, music, and food.
We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, February 24th, from 5:30 PM to 9 PM, at Via dal Bagn 52.
Free admission with mandatory reservation.
LANGOSTERIA
Langosteria is a blend of taste, sophistication, and rhythm. It represents an approach to dining that originated in Italy and consistently aims for excellence by combining tradition with a contemporary and international perspective.
This culinary experience is manifested in seven restaurants located across four iconic locations: four in Milan, one in Paris, the stunning bay of Paraggi in Portofino, and the magnificent terrace overlooking the slopes of Corviglia in St. Moritz. There are also upcoming openings planned in London in 2024 at The OWO and in Miami at The Raleigh Hotel in 2026.
Calvisius Caviar – The first European caviar of the highest quality
Agroittica and Italian Caviar Srl, subsidiaries of the Agroittica Lombarda Group, have given life to two product lines: Calvisius and Ars Italica Calvisius. These two entities have allowed the Group to establish a global presence with the widest variety of caviar entirely produced in-house from sustainably and artisanally farmed sturgeon. In over 60 hectares of dedicated aquaculture tanks, the most prized sturgeon varieties are raised, enabling the company to account for over 15% of the world’s farmed caviar production.
