Renowned artist Richard Orlinski opens the doors to an exceptional solo exhibition, “THE WILD ODYSSEY,” thanks to Deodato Arte Gallery in the heart of Milan. For the first time in Milan, Deodato Arte presents a major collection of works by Richard Orlinski, reflecting his iconic pop spirit and colorful style. The exhibition, on view from March 21 to April 20, promises to take visitors on a wild artistic journey.
“THE WILD ODISSEY” is an opportunity to step into the “Orlinski Galaxy” and admire some of the French artist’s most famous and iconic sculptures, which build bridges between different worlds, crossing boundaries. Richard Orlinski loves art in all its forms, so any medium that can be used for creative purposes attracts and interests him. In his works, the artist plays with and uses different materials such as aluminum, resin, and bronze.
His desire to push the boundaries of art leads him to make it accessible to everyone. That is why he always chooses to exhibit his monumental artworks outdoors, in cities, allowing visitors to contemplate his sculptures as they walk through the streets.
Milan too-after Paris, Venice and Miami, on the legendary Lincoln Road-will host a monumental installation by the artist in the heart of the fashion quadrilateral, at Via Verri 7, to celebrate his partnership with the famous Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot, of which he is an Ambassador. It is a long-standing partnership that has now lasted 8 years, during which time the world’s best-selling contemporary French artist has created uniquely designed timepieces with his famous facets, sought after by watch collectors and art collectors alike. Richard Orlinski will therefore bring an artistic touch to the city of Milan by exhibiting an iconic 180 cm tall Wild Kong in vibrant Mick blue, positioned in front of the Hublot Milan-Pisa 1940 boutique, catalyzing the attention of Milanese and tourists alike.
Visitors to the Wild Odyssey Exhibition will be able to meet the artist on opening night on March 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Galleria Deodato Arte at 1 Via Nerino, Milan, and venture into his world, admiring his most iconic artworks.
