A project between art, design, and contemporary light
An iconic object that transforms, a surface that becomes language, a presence that goes beyond function to enter the space of art.
Thus was born Icona in Luce, the new project by Dino Bruscino for Bruscino Design.
The works will be unveiled for the first time on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 6:30 PM at Galleria Deodato Arte, Via Nerino 1, Milan, during the official presentation of the project featuring Dino Bruscino and Marco Lodola.
Between matter, gesture, and transformation
At the center of the project is the Vespa: no longer a vehicle, but a structure. A symbol of Italian design that is stripped of its original function and reinterpreted as an expressive element, suspended between memory and transformation.
Bruscino’s work develops through an essential and rigorous approach, where every detail contributes to redefining the object. Mechanics become aesthetics, construction becomes gesture.
Gesture, matter, light.
Three elements that define the project.
The gesture is artisanal, precise, intentional.
The material is selected and shaped to express a new identity.
Light introduces an additional dimension, capable of altering perception and activating space.
It is precisely within this element that the intervention of Marco Lodola takes place, an artist known for his work with light. His contribution expands the project, taking it beyond the object itself and transforming it into a visual experience.
The result is a dialogue between art and design that takes shape in space, where the icon dissolves and recomposes into a new contemporary vision.
