Deodato.Group and QuantumSpace: A New Frontier Between Art and Artificial Intelligence

Deodato.Group announces a new strategic partnership with QuantumSpace, a data company founded in New York by an entirely Italian team and specialized in developing advanced technologies for the analysis of artworks based on Artificial Intelligence.

The agreement provides for the exclusive distribution in Italy of QuantumSpace technology by Deodato.Gallery, marking the company’s official entry into the Italian market and strengthening the Group’s path toward integrating art, technological innovation, and new services for the cultural ecosystem.

When Art Becomes Data

The technology developed by QuantumSpace is designed to transform images of artworks into clear and interpretable data, thanks to an advanced visual intelligence infrastructure.

Through proprietary Artificial Intelligence algorithms, the system can analyze photographs of artworks in a completely non-invasive way, identifying elements invisible to the naked eye, such as micro-alterations, degradation patterns, material stratifications, and traces of restoration interventions.

The analyses generate diagnostic reports and structured datasets that can be used in multiple contexts: from certification to conservation, from insurance to research. The collected information also enables the creation of advanced cataloguing and monitoring systems that track the conservation status of artworks over time, opening the way to new forms of comparative and predictive analysis.

These technologies are part of a broader research field that combines artificial intelligence, neuroscience, and aesthetic analysis, with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of how humans perceive and evaluate art.

A Concrete Example: The Apollo of Mantua

A significant application case is the study conducted on the Apollo statue preserved at Palazzo Ducale in Mantua, a marble sculpture from the imperial era derived from an original Greek bronze.

Starting from simple photographs of the sculpture, QuantumSpace algorithms made it possible to analyze its conservation state, identifying restorations, additions, and modifications layered over time, without any physical contact with the artwork.

This approach represents an important step forward in artistic diagnostics, making scientific analysis of cultural heritage possible through more accessible, rapid, and non-invasive tools.

New Tools for the Art System

Thanks to the collaboration with Deodato.Group, QuantumSpace technology will now also be available in Italy for museums, cultural institutions, collectors, foundations, and art market professionals.

The goal is to expand the possibilities for studying and managing artistic heritage by providing tools capable of supporting decisions based on data and advanced technical analysis.

Innovation at the Service of Culture

This partnership is part of Deodato.Group’s strategy aimed at developing new models that integrate art, technology, and scientific research.

By promoting innovative solutions for the analysis, conservation, and enhancement of artworks, the Group reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the evolution of the cultural ecosystem and to the definition of new standards for the study and enjoyment of artistic heritage.
